Every puddle has a second city in it.

I photograph New York in the moments it holds still, in puddles, glass, and steel, where the old city and the new one meet, upside down

Our Philosophy

A puddle on a sidewalk doesn’t just show you the sky. It shows you the building behind you, the cab blowing through a yellow light, the bodega sign flickering above someone’s shoulder. I started noticing these accidental mirrors everywhere: subway grates after rain, wine glasses on a bar top, storefront glass on a dead-quiet 3am block. Still Streets is what I’ve collected chasing them. New York caught looking at itself for half a second, before a tire splashes through it or the light changes and it’s gone.

Let’s collaborate

I’m always happy to hear from people who love this city as much as I do, whether it’s about a print, a collaboration, or just talking shop.
